The Witch subtitled as "A
New-England Folktale", is a dreadful movie. It is a story of a farmer
named William. Because of some religious clash, he is being expelled from his
plantation and forced to live on the outskirts of a forest. Now he is living in
an isolated place with his wife, Katherine and five children. As soon as they
shifted there, some unusual things started happening in the house. Crops mysteriously start dying and animal
turn malevolent. Then the youngest child of the house went missing, but they
believe that some wolf must have done it and accused Thomasin for her
carelessness. After this, the child Caleb strolls into the forest alone where
he confronts a supernatural menace.
Thomasin is growing up girl who
behave very recklessly and cause of it, she has to face her father's jarring judgments.
Once she spooks her younger sister by professing as a witch. Later, because of
this later, she is accused of doing witchcraft. In this way, the family's love,
faith, and loyalty are being tested in many ghastly situations.
